Autumn Speaking Engagements

This fall will be a busy one for Prairie Roots Genealogy! Here’s where you can find us enjoying the autumnal splendor:

• 12 September 2026 — I presented “Crafting a Compelling Family History” at the Appleton Public Library. I created a special writing resources page that you can find here, which now includes the video of this presentation. (You can also find it on the Appleton Public Library’s YouTube channel)

• 16 September 2026 — I’m presenting “Irish Migrations to Canada” for the Ontario Genealogical Society’s Irish Special Interest Group (SIG). It’s free and open to all! You just need to register on Zoom.

• 30 October 2026 — I’ll be presenting both days of the Minnesota Genealogical Society’s Norths Star Conference, starting with “Research LGBTQ+ Ancestors” on Friday.

• 31 October 2026 — On the second day of the North Star conference, I’m presenting “Managing Your Digital Family Archives.” You can register for the conference here.
